RHEOSTATS — RESISTORS POWER BANK
Rheostat is an adjustable resistance connected into an electrical circuit to provide a means of control while the circuit is “live’. Our Rheostats have been accurately studied and in order to obtain the best performance, only first quality raw materials are used in the construction: for the tubes, special porcelain of high thermal and electrical resistance is used; for the winding only oxidised and annealed constantan of high quality, unalterable , even when strongly heated and with negligible coefficient of temperature, is used in all types.
LINEAR RHEOSTATS (SINGLE AND TWIN)
The linear Rheostats are constituted by an insulated tube, on which the resistive wire has been wound, and by a slider moving on the winding. Simple and sturdy the Linear Rheostats are particularly suited for use in Test Rooms , Electrical laboratories, etc. They permit a smooth and gradual regulation of D.C. and A.C. currents and voltages, without interruptions and sparks. They are widely used for the control of currents and voltages of any kind. They are particularly suited for use in test rooms, electrical laboratories, etc by offering the great advance of a smooth and fine regulation, which enables to establish promptly all desired loads.
CIRCULAR RHEOSTATS
In the Circular construction the Rheostat is winded on a toroidal porcelain core, the contact is of sliding type driven by a central shaft.
Our range includes many sizes and the possibility of assembling several Rheostats on the same shaft. The rheostat has a mechanical rotation of 3100, and is supplied with a graduated dial and its knob.
